Message from the Prez -  KC Ahrens Dec 11, 2020
Good Morning Friends and Fellow Rotarians!

What a great weekend we had for the Breakfast With Santa event!  Thanks so very much for all your help, support, and good cheer!!  Once again, a special thanks to Connie and the BWS committee members for pulling this off.  Also, a special thanks to Janet and Michael Stanzak for graciously providing Santa’s sleigh for the event—a vintage light blue Cadillac Eldorado convertible named Louise!  And, did you know that Barb Nevin and Bob Ayotte (and others) spearheaded an effort—okay, “mission” Col. Ayotte—to bring pancake meals to confined/shut-in seniors.  Wow!!  That’s so awesome!  All of the feedback received from the community in general, and those that drove through the Chris Cakes pancake line in particular, has been very positive—everyone was grateful that the event took place.  Thanks to all of you!

Please attend one of our upcoming socials at the end of this month.  We are partnering with Rotarians, Susan Kibler and Terri Berg, owners of local business, Board and Brush, for a fun-filled craft event on two separate dates—12/23 and 12/28.  Details are below.  Be sure to sign up!

This past week, we had an awesome presentation from Matt Wessale and Tyler Myers, both of whom are involved in “Engineers Without Borders.”  They are doing amazing work to bring clean water, latrines, and schools to third-world countries.  And, on top of it, EWB partners with Rotary Clubs and Rotary International to get the job done!!!  Check out the links below and, also, see how you can purchase Guatemalan coffee to help fund the cause!

To quote one of our Club’s Charter Rotarians, Tim Mulcrone—“Miss a Meeting, Miss A Lot.”  Don’t miss out!!!

See all of you soon!!  Thanks so much for your support, encouragement, and commitment!  I’m having a great time.  Again, please call or e-mail anytime with thoughts, ideas, criticism, etc.  I’m here to serve you!
