Angela talked about School District 112 Foundation. District 112 Foundation is helping to advance excellence in education for our students and educators. From teacher grants that support innovation in the classrooms, to helping meet basic financial and food needs of our students, to celebrating our annual Teacher of the Year, the Foundation is dedicated to ensuring quality programming for our kids.

The following proposals were approved by the foundation You can find out more detail by talking to a member of the foundation board.

      1.   Venezuelan Refugees  - $1,500 to be matched with $1,500  (You can read about this effort in the May 2020 issue of     The Rotarian Magazine. Many cubs have collaborate with the Houston, Tx Club to help fund assistance to the refugees.)
  1. Madagascar Hospital Solar Panels      -   $5,000 to be matched by the District and hopefully RI
  2. District 112 Learning Bus         $2,000 to serve local low income families and seniors
