Scholarships are open to Residents of Chanhassen who are graduating seniors from any high school (public, private or home school) OR graduating seniors of Chanhassen High School.
A senior can only apply to ONE Rotary Club of Chanhassen Scholarship.
Approximately 15-20 scholarships will be awarded. Amount of the scholarship will vary, approximately $500-$1500.

Electronic Applications are available on the Rotary Club of Chanhassen’s web site – www.chanhassenrotary.org in the Home Page Download Files section, using either the Word doc or Fillable PDF for the Application. Information is also available through the Guidance offices of these local high schools: Chanhassen, Minnetonka, Southwest Christian, and Holy Family.

Scholarship Selection is based on the following:
1. Volunteer service (Rotary’s motto is “service above self”)
2. School activities, extra-curricular activities, etc.
3. Achievement (personal and scholastic)

While grades are considered for the award, they are not a significant criterion for the scholarship. Volunteer Service and essay answers are more important. Strongest consideration will be given to students involved in volunteer service.
