"Polar Plunge Warms My Heart" - Register Here to attend
Mar. 02, 2022 7:00 a.m.
This is the first speaker in our Influencer Series of speakers who have made an impact in Chanhassen, Carver County, the metro area or the State of Minnesota. Ian Leonard has an amazing life story to share with us. Register Here to attend either in person or on ZOOM After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. Graduating in Geosciences from Mississippi State University, Ian lives his life through one simple run-on sentence: “I love my life, I love my wife, I love my daughters and I love my dog ... I kinda like the cats.” In the past 5 years he survived cancer, finished 3 Ironman races and learned to empty the dishwasher. Working tirelessly all year for Special Olympics MN and the 8,000 Special athletes, he has raised more than $25 million for the annual winter Polar Plunge (he’s plunged over 300 times) and his fall PGA Bad Pants Open Golf Tournament. Every morning when he wakes he asks himself the same question: what will I do for someone else today?
