President Martina Bainbridge welcomes Art Dyck

This past Friday we welcomed Stoney Creek's newest Rotarian, Art Dyck.

Art has been an active member of the Hamilton business community for many years. He is a Benefit and Small Business Specialist with Harvard Risk Management.

Art has been actively "trying out" our Rotary Club as a winner of a trial membership, drawn at our Paul Harris Fellow Award Night in honour of Police Chief Glen DeCaire this past winter. When his trial membership came to an end, Art knew he wanted to become a permanent member of our club.

Art got his first true taste of "service above self" at our recent Peach Festival perogie and peach crepe booth. His enthusiasm and commitment to help where ever needed was obvious.

We are looking forward to having Art's smiling face out each Friday morning and welcome him to our Rotary of Stoney Creek family.
