Our History
In 1959 a number of community-minded business people met weekly for food, fun and fellowship.
 
Each represented a distinct business or professional classification.  The result is a broad spectrum of experience and idea. 
 
Being a Rotarian means being able to enrich the lives of others, while discovering a world of personal enrichment through service.
 
 
Page Stories
In the early 1990s, I had a series of life-altering experiences: I turned 50, I got married, I moved to Stoney Creek, and I joined Rotary!
 
Previously, I had been a Senior Planner with the (then) Ministry of the Environment, within the Government of Ontario. My career had required a move from my native Toronto to the Hamilton area, and my office was in the Ellen Fairclough Building....
