Today's Meeting
Rotarian Dave Thompson's Classification Talk
Today, we had the good fortune to be introduced to our newest member.

Dave was born and raised in Hamilton.  He is married to Rachelle and has two daughters, Jennifer & Krista.  Dave loves to garden.

He began his working career in janitorial services but eventually caught on with Bell Canada as a Cable Installer but he continued to work on the weekends as a cleaner.  He reached the point where he was making more money as a cleaner than on his full time job so he became a full time cleaner.  He started to focus heavily on steam cleaning carpets and eventually started up Terra Cleaning, his own company.  Over time he began to branch out in Restoration work becoming a fully qualified delivering turnkey solutions for fire damaged, water damaged, mould damaged and storm damaged properties.  He even even told us about his experiences working with the federal government in the far north.

Today, he works as an independent Contractor picking when and if he wants to work.

Dave is a former member of the Mountain Sunrise Rotary Club.  Welcome back Dave.  We're looking forward to working with you.

Weekly Encouragement - courtesy of Linda Marshall
A heart full of gratitude is a heart that gives back.  When we're grateful we have a desire to give back, and in giving back, we find joy.  We get because we give.

Nothing material lasts. What endures are the relationships, the experiences, and the love.  These are forever - the gifts that keep giving. Life is good when we are happy but even better when others are happy because of us.
