Winona Peach Festival Updates
 
  • We are looking for members willing to train as Assistant Supervisors this year.  Please email Martina if you can help in this role martinabainbridgerotary@gmail.com
     
  • We have 142 shifts to fill with volunteers.  Last year we had a shift with NO Rotarians from our Club.  We need to spread everyone out over the weekend and ask that you start inquiring with friends and family to secure volunteers.
     
  • We have a replacement freezer donated for our booth to replace the one with the warped lid.
 
TEAD Charity Golf Tournament - June 1oth
Marcia is interested in putting together a foursome for this event.  Please reach out to her if you are interested.
 
Rotary Email - Make your life easier
If you have trouble locating a Rotary email, some members have created a separate email for just business about Rotary.  This way it doesn't get mixed up with personal or business emails.  Let Martina know if you're interested or need help with this.
 
ClubRunner and MyRotary Training

Today's Meeting

Rebekah Hill, Executive Director of The Hamilton Dream Centre shared an excellent presentation on the purpose of the centre and the programs it offers to vulnerable working people and Seniors.  The Dream Centre was devasted with a major fire on May 1st and believe it will take a year to repair and rebuild their building.  All their food, clothing and equipment was destroyed or had to be thrown out due to contamination.

They are setting up a temporary location at the Core Church at Main & Sandford Avenue and will reopen at this space on July 7th.

They offer a Foodbank for working Hamiltonians who need support as well as a full Seniors Program for any resident 60 and over.

They have 3 asks:
