Our Friday November 25th in person lunch meeting was held at the Stoney Creek Legion upper board room B.
Our Guest Speaker was Vincent Kuber from the Steel Town Athletic Club.
He discussed his Covid Running Groups and how they have continued to grow.
He then talked about how he has developed House League and Rep Basketball teams at no cost to the individual players living in the Red Zomes in the Hamilton Area.
They are having some very impressive results with scouts coming out to watch the talent and some being offered scholarships that would have been out of their reach.
they are working with Empowerment Square and hope to expand into other areas of Hamilton and possibly launching a Soccer/Football program in the future.
