Leo Johnson - Founder of Empowerment Square was our guest speaker on Friday June 3rd at 7am.
Leo brought us an inspirational story about the creation of '"The Liberian Dream" project of building a Library and Learning Resource Center in his home country.
This centre will house the first library that many of the citizens will have ever seen. It will have a Rotary hall/room for meetings of local organizations and many resources that have not been available in this country until now. The organization is a strong advocate for education and entrepreneurism. The facility will also be solar powered as Liberia has no regulated power grid and many places rely on self generator fossil fuel engines.
