Cindy Eveleler - New Chamber Exec. Director

Cindy Eveler, a resident and member of the Lincoln business community since 2003, was recently named the new executive director for the Lincoln Area Chamber of Commerce. She has been serving as a Chamber director since 2006, and was elected to two terms as a board president. Cindy brings a strong and creative business background to the position, but she even admitted that Bob Romness will be difficult to replace.  Cindy talked about her background and ideas about how the Chamber will continue to support the Lincoln business community.

We congratulated George Dawson on his 56 years of marriage. Karen was winner of the Raffle, but no Ace of Spades - $220 next week. 

Ken G. reported that the Community Blood Drive netted only 14 donors, with one Rotarian donating.  We need to turn up our gain on supporting this activity, or it will go away.

 Paul R. gave a short presentation on our International projects.  We have committed $5000 to support international projects this year, mainly through collaboration with other club projects. You can find more about the projects on the Site Pages item on the club website or Click Here

A great show by Kris and Dan, recruiting Super Heroes for the Relay for Life activities weekend after this one. we need more fun "shows" like this. So for you next announcement, see if you can one-up them.
