Club Membership Meeting

After the normal introductions, we celebrated Tony Bellacera's birthday.  Tony, who has been a Rotarian for 37 years, was accompanied to the meeting by his son Tony.  He reported that our club is the best Rotary club he has ever encountered in his travels. (See pictures for cake!)  We also celebrated David C.'s and Jerry's birthdays.

ImageLots of Happy Bucks due to the Chamber activities reported in the eBulletin last week.  We presented Elizabeth with her initial Paul Harris pin and concurrently a PH+1 pin.   Than you Elizabeth for your generous donations.

Dan Johnson was our main speaker for the day and had organized the Membership meeting agenda (and was also the lucky drawing winner - but not lucky enough to get the Ace of Spades). Good job Dan.

Bill Cook showed the Ignite Spreadsheet and stated that we were essentiially at the Premier Level, ready to start enter the District Double level. David Cesio handed out Ignite pins to those members that had brought potential members to our club meetings. Sandy and Joann were awarded for sponsoring new members.

Dan made a presentation on the 4-Way Test and showed a video on Herbert Taylor.  See links to Video presentations below.  The presentation was ended with a recitation of the 4-Way Test in English and Spanish.

Following the meeting, some members went to Creekside Elementary to participate in Book Buddies reading with students from the school.
