2014 04_26 Lincoln Wine Fest
The Lincoln Wine Fest was a great success. About 650 people showed up to taste wine from South Placer wineries, and to have food suppled by Lincoln businesses. In addition, there was live music and a wine garden in Beermann Plaza and a "Bottle Shop" when attendees could take home some of their favorite wines. This event is provided as a Community Service to the downtown Lincoln businesses as a way to bring people to Lincoln. Secondly, it is to tie Lincoln to Placer County wineries so that Lincoln is perceived to be the Gateway to the Placer County wine country.

To staff this huge event, our club was supported by volunteers from downtown businesses and from Beale Air Force Base. The gratifying part of this event is that the downtown merchants were absolutely delighted by the turnout. See more pictures at Winefest Album.
