Our final Social of the Rotary calendar year competed with Mother Nature for top billing and to a degree, she won. However, 15 hearty souls turned up at Hop/Scotch to sample the appetizers and cocktail concoctions, all with wild stories of trees downed, tornado warnings, and soaking rain. Partying by candlelight at the bar was a necessity - there was no power. But it was romantic!
