Linda Reider, Executive Director of the BC SPCA, wowed us with her presentation about just how much the organization does, including free sterility for cats and a low cost euthanization service for suffering, older pets. She compared the BC SPCA ideals to our 4WT- they seek honest and fair treatment for animals, while building goodwill in the community.

Linda will be presenting again on February 27th, so mark your calendars. And bring your retired pet cages, blankets, old towels, or fresh pet treats to donate!

Pickleball is the fastest growing racket sport for all age groups. It's played with solid rackets, bigger than ping pong rackets, and a plastic ball with holes in it, about the size of a wiffle ball. The net is low to the ground. Camp Curiosity has 13 courts, both inside and outside - if you are looking for a place to play.

Jeremiah Thomas, son of member Bill Thomas and current Camp Curiosity Director, and "Pickleball Pete" entertained us with pickleball history and showed us how to play (virtually). Imagine being 2' tall, standing on a ping pong table. Now you know!
