On April 24th, the ballroom of the Doylestown Country Club bubbled with the morning greetings of 200 community members who gathered to attend our Four Way Test Breakfast. Co-chair Janet Mintzer, dressed in Rotary blue and yellow, led us through the program, with President Gail Linenberg awarding the Rotarian of the Year Award to Max Rose, Linda McCrillis introducing the Community Honorees for "Service Above Self" in the areas of Education, Not-for-Profit, Arts and Culture, Business, Community Volunteer and Healthcare, followed by Gabby Lee performing her Four Way Test Speech, and Bill Shoffler handing out $29,500 in grants to the following charities: Ann Silverman Community Health Clinic, Bucks for Kids, Doylestown Fire Company, Doylestown Youth Fishing Program, James N Stephan Veterans Program, The Council of Southeast PA, The Fiaria Project, YMCA of Buck County and Shelterbox. Thank you to our fine sponsors, with a shout-out to platinum sponsors Addison Wolfe Real Estate and Doylestown Health. Thank you to the Four Way Test Committee for a job well done and to Bruce Rutherford for the excellent photography! And thank you to District Governor, Cindy Hornaman, for the awards she presented to our club.
