Jean Holbert-Leighton- celebrated her 30th anniversary with Jim - daughter Lauren has started her new job in  Ottawa;
Jim Howes- his granddaughter-Lydia- has just turned 13 - Nancy is on a cruise to Alaska with her sister;
Jim Hooper- celebrated his 9th anniversary with his wife, Lynn, at the Blue Mermaid;
Sandra Rothman - just happy to be at the meeting;
Amy Ball- starting the first EClub as President Elect. Happy to be joining rotay in this position;

Hospice Niagara Car Raffle – Chris Bangham- Chris, in his capacity as Chair of Hospice- spoke about the 5 Car draw which is the premier fund raising event for Hospice Niagara. He brought books of tickets to sell and invited anyone to come forward to purchase- $25.00 each or a book of 5 for $100.

Sadly, this is to inform you that Hugh Sampson, Past District Governor 7090, 1983-84, passed away May 29, a memorial service was held Friday June 3 at the Wesleyan Church of Hamburg. Also Charles Fogel, Past District Governor, has passed away.
 
Sheila read a letter of resignation from George Fitzpatrick, although it was accepted with deep regret, George was made an Honourary member

Introduction of Guest Speaker: Jim Hooper introduced Roseanne- they both had joined Rotary in 2004 and is very proud to work with her on various committees.
 
Rotary GSE Presentation 
 
Roseanne presented her program of her Rotary GSE trip to Korea. It was a life changing trip for all of the  team members- a tremendous slide show followed of various aspects of life in Korea.
