Wellsping is a cancer support centre in Niagara that offers free emotional, psychological, social, and informational support for people living with cancer and their families and friends.
 

Roseanne introduced Ann Mantini-Celima,Co-Founder and Executive Director of Wellspring Niagara. Ann is also a member of the singing trio - The Mantini Sisters - who have toured Canada and US for over 20 years. Roseanne mentioned that Dragon Boat Race, an initiative of Wellspring Niagara that our club supported, which raised over $26,000. Ann is a recipient of a Paul Harris Fellowship from the Rotary Club of Niagara-on-the-Lake and Lewiston. Roseanne noted that all of us have been touched by cancer, either through our friends or family. 
 
Ann spoke of the founding of Wellspring - a wish of her younger brother, Aldo, who succumbed to cancer in 1998. Wellsping is a cancer support centre in Niagara that offers free emotional, psychological, social, and informational support for people living with cancer and their families and friends.

Ann showed a short video with testimonials from staff, cancer  patients and their families who told of the great importance of the centre. Since June 2001, there have been over 27,0000 registrants to Wellspring. Wellspring relies on financial support from the community, not the government.
