Off-site visit to Intermountain Zia Apartments
Intermountain Zia apartments

Our club will visit Intermountain's  Zia apartments at 3240 E Towner Street. Parking is available on the street. We'll learn about the services provided by Zia and will have a tour. Coffee and a light breakfast will be served.

Zia is an apartment setting for youth ages 16-18, with a focus on independent living skills and transitioning to independence. 

 

Intermountain Centers (Intermountain) provides the highest quality, evidence-based human services to facilitate self-sufficiency for individuals in their own communities and cultural contexts. Intermountain strives to be a model for human service organizations.

Intermountain provides a variety of programs and support services to:

·         Children diagnosed with autism

·         Children with specialized educational needs

·         Children and adolescents who are emotionally and/or behaviorally challenged

·         Children and adolescents who are transitioning from one locus of care to another

·         Adolescents aging out of foster and group residential care to independent living

·         Adults who have been diagnosed with a serious mental illness

·         Adults who have been diagnosed with developmental disabilities

·         Adults transitioning to independent living

·         Families of clients in need of parenting support and connection to community resources

 Kyle Lininger graduated from Vanderbilt University’s Peabody College of Education and Human Development and the College of Arts & Science with baccalaureate degrees in cognitive studies and Spanish literature. In 2012 Kyle earned a master’s degree in public administration from the School of Government and Public Policy at the University of Arizona. He is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and delivers ABA services to children (ages 2-21) on the autism spectrum. He is Director of Behavioral Intervention Services at Intermountain Centers. He serves as Arizona’s Act Early Ambassador for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, State Representative for Autism Society of America, and is a Commissioner with the City of Tucson’s Commission on Disability Issues.

 Paul O’Rourke is an award-winning marketing and communications professional with two decades of creative experience working on both the client and agency side of the business. Highly successful in spearheading the design and implementation of engagement campaigns and major events for clients that include corporations, non-profits, celebrities, professional athletes, sports figures and government officials. Paul is the director of marketing and Communications at Intermountain Centers.  He graduated from the University of Arizona with a bachelor’s degree in media arts.
