Chris Bangham introduced our speaker John Grummett.
John is a resident of Grimsby and wears numerous hats with volunteer organizations throughout Niagara.
Has spearheaded the St Catharines run since its inception 35 years ago.
In 2014 the run broke the ceiling of having raised over one million dollars. This is a great opportunity for the
community to come together and raise important dollars for the Terry Fox Foundation. The money not only
goes into research but also provides an opportunity for hope. Or the 5Km one may run, walk, roller blade, bicycle,
or wheelchair race. Over the last several years some of the money raised by the foundation has remained locally.
Brock University has received $400.000 in funding for their cancer research over the past two years.

There was discussion and clarification and consensus reached. The budget was passed overwhelmingly.
