The Niagara on the Lake club hosted this year's Rotary Clubs of Niagara Annual Joint Lunch on Tuesday.
The Fife and Drum Corp from Fort George was the welcoming committee which set the tone to this year's 1812 theme.
The Guests listened to local historian and author Ron Dale who informed us of the important events leading up tho the war of 1812.
The sole American present was our district governor John Heisse who was of course outnumbered , however he took it well and was allowed to leave unharmed.
