CORNERSTONE COMMUNITY CHURCH BURUNDI TRIP

It was a pleasure to welcome Pastor Doug Hiebert to our meeting on Tuesday.
Pastor Doug will accompany church members to complete a clinic and pharmacy in Burundi, a place where he has lived in the past with his family. He shared some interesting and scary tales with us on how it was living in an extremely third world country with a young family and lack of health care.
Ward will accompany them to set up a pharmacy in the clinic.
Niagara on the lake Rotary Club has donated $1000 to the project, which will go towards the cost of pharmaceuticals and the pharmacy set up.
This truly embraces this year's theme "Peace through Service."
Good Luck Wardie and we will look forward to some interesting tales on your return.....whenever that may be.
Receiving our cheque from Patrick MacNeil

Pastor Doug.
Ward receiving his pith helmet from Cliff. ......"Dr Livingstone, I presume".
Doesn't he cut a fine swath and looks ready for anything. ...... perhaps boxes of antibiotics falling on his head?
