CLUB MEETING HIGHLIGHTS - August 23, 2022
 
Terry Kotwa chaired the meeting held outdoors at Rotary Park, Beamsville. He welcomed 12 Lincoln Rotarians who were keen to share their HAPPY BUCKS tales...
 
Many spoke about enjoyable holidays and others of plans for future holidays.
 
Rotarians Joanne Serkyn and Anna Murre have stepped up to run as candidates for Town of Lincoln Council in the upcoming municipal election on October 24, 2022. Joanne is vying for one of two seats in Ward One and Anna is doing the same in Ward Three.
 
Rotarian Rob Foster has been acclaimed as Niagara Regional Councillor (2022 - 2026) for the Town of Lincoln.
 
Members expressed their pride at the leadership in our community, which is rising out of Rotary membership.
 
Sue & Rob Foster ( CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS? ) are going to spend two weeks at the cottage doing nothing.

RCL's FIFTH TUESDAY SOCIAL EVENT - Tuesday, August 30, 2022
The Kotwas have invited all to join them at their home for an evening of fun and fellowship.

District 7090 RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Award) 2023
RYLA returns to District 7090 as a hybrid event over a week in May 2023 starting with an
in-person segment over a weekend followed by virtual sessions for the remainder of the week.
Joanne Serkeyn hopes that Cave Springs Camp will be selected as the location for the in-person sessions.

District 7090 Club Presidents' Dinner - Tuesday, September 13, 2022
The District is beginning to do more in person events. Sue and Brenda will be attending the dinner for CLUB PRESIDENTS on the Canadian side of our Best of Friends District to be hosted by District Governor Lisa Bishop. A similar event for presidents on the US side is scheduled on September 14.
