Our speaker for July 29th, 2013:

Elisha Magnifico is a graduate of ConVal High School.  She went to Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois where she received both her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Speech-Language Pathology.
Elisha has worked for over 12 years as a pediatric speech-language pathologist in a variety of settings including the public schools, an outpatient hospital clinic, a multidisciplinary private practice and an orphanage in the Philippines.  For the past 6 ½ years she has run her own private practice called Magnificent Kids, 70 Main Street, Suite 201, Petebrorough, NH 03458, Tel: 603-924-7722, URL: magnificentkids.com. In addition she is the Executive Director and Founder of Touchstone Farm, Touchstone Farm, 13 Pony Farm Lane, Temple, NH 03084, Tel: 603-654-6308, URL: www.touchstone-farm.org.

Elisha lives in Peterborough with her husband and three children.

David Simpson highlighted a new effort from the Heritage Commission to organize the 2014 Peterborough Founding Celebration specifically signage honoring William Diamond, drummer boy from Battles of Lexington and Concord.  A petition was passed around to to be signed to support road sign commemorating William Diamond and his connection to Peterborough.
