The Peterborough Rotary Club has supported our community for over 90 years. For more than half that time, Pancake Breakfast supported our community service projects.  The annual breakfast was also an opportunity for Rotarians, local Boy Scouts and high school students to serve pancakes to the people in our community.

Thanks to your support we raised over $9,000 in 2018 to support the following charitable activities and contributions:

  • ConVal Quest Summer Program for ConVal Middle School Students
  • Operation Santa
    • Holiday gifts for 200 members in our community
  • Peterborough Food Pantry
  • ConVal End 68 Hours of Hunger
  • Peterborough Town Library
  • Scholarships for ConVal High School Seniors
    • $5,000 in scholarship for higher education
  • Windy Row Learning Center
  • Brantwood Camp
  • Peterborough Boy Scout Troop 8
  • Peterborough Town House Holiday Decorations
  • Youth International Exchange for High School Students
  • New Hampshire Honey Bee Initiative
  • Peterborough Sunshine Fund

After 48 breakfasts, the Peterborough Rotary Club will take a year off in 2019 and not host the traditional pancake breakfast that began on Easter morning in 1971.  It was a very difficult decision for the Board.

The services the Peterborough Rotary Club provides for the community go very far beyond providing a hearty morning feast that families have shared with friends and neighbors once a year.  The placemats with a listing of sponsors were an important part of how we recognized your support, but in recent years we have reached a far broader audience via the local newspaper and online.  We ask for your continued financial support of Rotary’s programs and services for the Peterborough Community.

In recognition of your generous support, we will be proud to include your name in our partner ad in the Monadnock Ledger-Transcript recognizing you and your businesses. We will also hold a special event this spring welcoming and celebrating all our supporters.
