The Peterborough Rotary Club works closely with the school district to sponsor programs like Operation Santa, ConVal Quest, Interact, Rotary Youth Exchange Program, and scholarships. Through fundraisers such as the Pancake Breakfast and the Cruz-In, the Rotary is able to offer scholarships to ConVal seniors to support them in their post-secondary plans.

In choosing the recipients, the Rotary reflects on the mission statement for Rotary International:  to provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through fellowship of business, professional and community service. The factors considered in choosing the recipients were scholastic achievement, work and extra curricular activities, financial need and community service.
