Corinne Chronopoulos,
Peterborough Library Director

After many years of preparation for a major renovation and restoration, the Peterborough Town Library, the oldest tax-funded free public library in the nation, has recently unveiled architectural plans for the project.  The new 17,000 square foot design adds an additional 7,000 square feet of usable space to the Library, creating an updated, 21st century public library that is equipped with the space and infrastructure to meet increasing demand for vital services to the Town.  Library Director Corinne Chronopoulos will speak about the project, its relationship to the community, and modern libraries, in general.
