There are two types of membership in a Rotary club: 1. Active, and 2. Honorary. Please note the attendance exemption rule was changed by Rotary international effective July 1, 2010.
1. Active: pays dues, must meet the 60% attendance rule.
Active/Exempt: pays dues, but has filed a written request for and the Board has approved an exemption to the attendance rule according to the Rotary International Rule stating that: "Members whose combined age and years of membership total at least 85 years may be granted an exemption from the attendance rule."
2. Honorary: The Club has granted these members, in exchange for extraordinary service, a membership status whereby the Club pays the member dues and the member is exempt from the attendance rule.

If you are at least 65 years old, and your age plus your years of membership total 85 or more, you may apply to the current Board of Directors to be granted an attendance exemption.
