After receiving a BS degree in Psychology and spending 32 years as a Division Sales Manager in Medical Diagnostics, he has turned his energy and attention to diabetes awareness. As a Type 2 Diabetic himself and a member of the NH Association of Diabetes Educators, he is passionate about his topic and his commitment to helping reverse the national trend.

Steven Ryder is the President and Founder of True North Networks, LLC.  True North is a leading national provider of managed hosting, technology and security services within the financial services industry.  In 2015, True North launched SecureWorkplace®, a suite of cybersecurity services designed to reduce the likelihood of a successful cyber-attack on their clients.  Prior to starting True North, Mr. Ryder worked in the financial services industry serving as Vice President of two banks, managing relationships with Fannie Mae’s largest New England clients, and was the CFO of the largest real estate company in New Hampshire.  Steven speaks at varies venues throughout the country each year on cybersecurity.

Susan Abert, Elder law attorney with Norton and Abert in Keene.

Topic “Top Ten Things to know about Powers of Attorney” 

Susan R. Abert is the Monadnock Region's only Board Certified Elder Law Attorney. She has served as President of the New Hampshire Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) and is a member of the New Hampshire Bar Association's Estate Planning and Probate Law Section. Attorney Abert is licensed in New Hampshire, New York, and Illinois but limits her practice to New Hampshire. She is a frequent speaker in the Monadnock Region and state-wide on legal topics such as estate planning and elder law. Attorney Abert is a graduate of the University of Virginia College of Arts & Sciences and the University of Virginia School of Law.

Nate Morison, Owner/Manager of Vicuna Chocolate Factory in Peterborough.

Nate Morison and his business partner Casey are the second owners of Vicuña Chocolate, a bean-to-bar chocolate factory in downtown Peterborough. Nate graduated a year early from high school and took the opportunity to turn around and grow a local business. Nate and Casey have serious plans for the award-winning gourmet chocolate product.

Becky is an American married to a Greek national where they resided and raised her two sons. She now spends part of her time in Peterborough and part back in Greece where she has been volunteering with the refugee crisis. She is also a published poet.

He earned a BA in Economics from Johnson State College and after an intensive 8 week training at Michigan State, entered the Peace Corp for two year service in the Philippines. Steve is also a certified Reiki Master.

Jim has worked in the field of physical therapy for over 25 years, and for the past 10 years works in the out patient department at Cheshire Medical Center in Keene. He's also an adjunct professor in the doctoral program for physical therapy for Franklin Pierce University for the past 9 years. He has a board certification in orthopedics and is certified as a orthopedic manual therapist. Ask him about Nicaragua!
