Milford Rotarians were treated to a mini-concert by the A La Carte quartet from the Souhegan Valley Chorus at the club's pre-Christmas meeting.

Songsters Dan and Lynn Wolaver of Greenfield, Jane Curran of Amherst and John Stafford of Nashua put on a delightful show singing holiday standards ranging from A Christmas Song by Mel Tormé and Bob Wells to new favorites like Christmastime is Here made famous by Charlie Brown and company. A highlight of the performance was their fun filled rendition of the 1953 hit song I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas.

The Milford Rotary Club has been a regular supporter of the Souhegan Valley Chorus. In October, the club donated $900 to the Souhegan Valley Chorus for the purchase of new music and attire. The chorus is always looking for new members – who can sing. If you are interested, please visit their website at www.souheganvalleychorus.org for more information.
