Volunteer with Us
Volunteering with the Meredith Rotary Club is a hands-on way to give back, meet others, and make a real difference in the Lakes Region.
You do not need to be a Rotary member to volunteer with us. We welcome individuals, families, and community groups who want to support local causes and be part of something meaningful. Many of our members first connected with us through volunteering before deciding to join.
Our members are actively involved in a wide range of projects throughout the year. Whatever your interests or availability, there is likely a way to get involved that fits your life.
Ways to Get Involved
Ice Fishing Derby: Our largest annual event takes place every February and needs dozens of volunteers for setup, registration, safety, and breakdown across two full days.
Environmental Projects: We run quarterly Styrofoam recycling collection events at the Meredith Solid Waste Facility and organize Meredith Bay clean-up efforts each year.
Community Infrastructure: We build and maintain trail platforms, park pavilions, and public spaces throughout the Lakes Region.
Youth Programs: Support the Inter-Lakes Interact Club, help with the Four-Way Test speech competition, or assist with hosting a Rotary Youth Exchange student.
Food and Community Support: We contribute to the Meredith Food Pantry, the Lakes Region Senior Center, and local Veterans programs throughout the year.
Fundraising and Events: Help with planning, coordination, and operations for club fundraisers and community events beyond the Derby.
