Our Club

Founded in 1928, the Meredith Rotary Club has been part of the Lakes Region for nearly a century, bringing together service-minded people who care deeply about Meredith, Center Harbor, Sandwich, and Moultonborough.

Our club is made up of people from many walks of life, including local business owners, educators, healthcare professionals, tradespeople, retirees, and community volunteers. What connects us is simple: we believe in friendship, service, and making our community stronger.

Join us every other Wednesday at either Lemon Grass in Moultonborough or Wicwas Grange in Meredith. Social time begins at 5:30 PM, with dinner available for purchase, followed by our meeting from 6:00–7:00 PM.

Visitors are always welcome! Stop by, meet the group, and see what we’re all about.

Be sure to check our Events page to see which location we’ll be meeting at this week.

How We Work

Our work is guided by Rotary’s long-standing principles. At the center is the Object of Rotary, which encourages service, integrity, and goodwill in both personal and professional life. We also follow the Four-Way Test, a simple but powerful guide for decision-making:

Rotary’s Avenues of Service shape how we act, from supporting our club and community to engaging in vocational, youth, and international service. Together, these principles form the foundation of how we approach service and how we work with one another.

Part of Something Bigger

Rotary is local, but it is also global. As part of Rotary International, our club shares in a worldwide mission of service, integrity, goodwill, and peace. Here in Meredith, that mission takes shape through weekly fellowship, hands-on volunteering, fundraising, mentoring, and partnerships with people and organizations who are working to improve lives.

With more than 1.2 million members across more than 200 countries, Rotary connects people who share a commitment to making the world better — one community at a time.

Come See for Yourself

The best way to understand what we do is to join us on a Wednesday evening. No commitment, no pressure — just dinner and good company.
