The Rotary Club of Meredith

Wednesday February 10, 2021

President Kevin opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance and Richard Gerken led us in prayer.

Gary Dehnel gave us a Rotary Foundation Moment.

Fred Strader says all looks good for the derby this weekend.

Carl Johnson reminded everyone about the ticket bags and not to leave them at the trailer.  They need to go to Dick's office on Foundry Avenue.

Anyone who is working a shift that they have not done before are advised to arrive a few minutes early so that they can be trained.

Bruce R, Harry R John C and Fred will be on site for the weekend if you have any questions.

COVID Testing has taken place, if you did not get tested please notify Fred.  If you tested positive,  notify Fred so that he can find replacement for your position.

There will be a heated tent to warm up in and to get food.  NO FOOD IN THE TRAILER.

There will be masks provided along with hand sanitizer and social distancing will be strongly emphasized.

If you are working in the trailer, dress in layers as the windows and doors will be held open at certain times in order to filter the air.

Ticket presales were about 3000.  Great Job !

A limited amount of merchandise will be on sale.  If you want to order something contact Betsey before Sunday as she will be putting in a ROTARY member order.

Thank you to all and looking forward to having a good derby.     Fred
