Maxfield Realty has Meredith Rotary Club as their charity and they donated $427.50.
We are invited to the Loon center for our August 2 meeting which will include dinner and a tour. Dinner will be catered by Moulton Farm. 5:30 for social; 6pm for the meeting.

Bylaw discussion with Heidi. Changes include:
Minimum of 9 members on the board. President, Vice President, Vice President elect, Past President, Treasurer, Secretary and three board members.
Vice President Elect moves to Vice President to President so they only need to get voted in once.
Addition of an Assistant Treasurer for succession planning and to be in place in case Treasurer cannot do his or her duties.
Sargent-at-Arms position is now given an official name. Takes attendance, introduces guests, tracks the Happy Dollars, etc. Ted now has an official title!
Clarification of the role of the chair of the committee. Dehnel/Sherman motion to just use the first sentence of Article 8, Section 6. B. Reichlin explained importance of not shortening the secrtion. Motion Fails. B. Reichlin/Berquist motion to accept Article 8, Section 6, striking “Unlike a manager in a corporate environment.” Motion carries.
Increase the amount that the Board can vote on without full club approval to $5000.
Gerken/Fodero We will now have a prepared budget presented to the Board annually per Rotary
Code of Policies January 2023. Motion carries.
Order of business at meetings shall be at the discretion of the President.
Fairbrother/B. Reichlin accept Bylaws as amended. Motion carries.

Jim M. for picking up his car after three weeks of it being repaired and was grateful for his extended warranty and for his brother-in-law buying a new pontoon boat at Jim’s dock.
