Bonnie Ireland- Lake Winnipesaukee clean-up day is April 27th. Dick stated we do a lake clean-up every year. Bonnie mentioned we merged and participated last year. The clean-up date was picked for Earth Day/Week; more information will emerge.
Harry Reichlen- Styrofoam collects went well at the dump on Saturday, March 16, 2024. He delivered (3 bags) to Gilford this morning, March 20, 2024, and collected $258 in donations.
Wendy Bagley announced that Mill Falls will be starting community events. One of their first events will be held on Memorial Day, including a Kayak Event from 8 to 11 a.m. We will get more information about this and future events in the next few weeks.
Happy Dollars
Happy Dollars were skipped due to the 4-Way Test and Board Updates. However, Rick drew the 50/50 raffle. After the first drawing, we had no winner, but Brian Harris won after a second ticket was drawn.
Guest Speakers - Six Students in the Four-Way Test Speach Competition
This evening, students from Inter-Lakes Middle/High School and Moultonborough
Academy participated in the 4-Way Test Contest. School personnel from both
schools were in attendance, including four staff members from Inter-Lakes
Middle/High School and three staff members from Moultonborough Academy.
The Four-Way Speach contestants are (L-R) Caroline Goren, Dariana Gavoidea,
Karl Koch, Delaney Sleeper, Ben Bousquet, Sumner Mills
President Wendy presented the following awards:

$500- First Place (Ben)
$300- Second Place (Delaney)
$150- Third, fourth, fifth, and sixth place
Ben's topic was 'Comparing Transportation in England to That in the US.' Ben will move on to the Semifinals on April 7th in Henniker.
