President Heidi opened the meeting by introducing our guests Bob Maloney, Jan Gulezian, prospective new member, Elaine Goode. - The Pledge followed by a short prayer by Dan Whitney.
Did you know moment: Bumble bees and wasps can only sting once*. However, European wasps are scary large and will bite. [Who knew?] Wood bees sting. Don’t mess with them. Honey bees will sting you, then die – *except the Queen Bee can sting multiple times.

Program: Paul Harris presentation by Craig Wiggin by describing the recipient as a Rotarian of the Year candidate – someone who has gone above and beyond in service to the Club – Fred Strader, tireless recruiter of new members and COVID based Fishing Derby chair.
Heidi went on to honor Past Presidents – first and foremost, John Sherman who is “still with us”, Chuck Thorndike, John Moulton, Peter Brothers, Bonnie Hunt, Ron Maher, Tom Fairbrother; Teresa Forbes, Ted Fodero, Bev Lapham, Carl Johnson, Dick Gerken, Ray Moritz, Mike Pelzar, Betsey Donovan, Craig Wiggin, Kevin Kelly, Tim Bergquist. Everyone was “pinned” and given a gift from President Heidi.

Dean – our outgoing student has withdrawn from the Program. On a positive note, he and Jan went to the Bruins Buffalo game, a present for his 70th birthday. Bruins won 7 – 0.
