                                  PROGRAM NOTES 
 
President Kevin led us in the pledge and Dick G. the prayer.
 
Kevin reported on the Million Mask Challenge, 800 thousand masks donated by Ross foundation.  They masks were donated to 10 different clubs within the district.
 
Gary reported that the Interlakes Soxtober fest is on and you can drop off socks at Meredith Insurance Agency or call Gary and he will pick them up.  They are looking for winter socks and they will be distributed to local organizations.  The Dollar store, Job lots and Walmart or JR's have a good selection.  
 
The BOD is donating $900 to the Humble Grunt Work group that is making crosses for the local cemetery to honor vets.  Mike and Betsey will be helping Carol Davis and Mike Taggett to assemble and paint the crosses.
 
The BOD also approved a request for an additional $5,000 to the Friends of the Meredith Park Recreation for the finishing touches to complete the stake park at Prescott Park.  Ted Fodero made a motion to make the donation, 2nd by Betsey Donovan, The Vote went to the membership and the PASSED.    No NAYS!
 
Fred Strader, chairman of the membership committee has lined up 3 fairly new members to give a short introduction of themselves.   The first up was Carl Ciak who is now retired after 40 years primary care.    Then Harry Reichlen spoke about his experience with the computer world.  John Columbus Cyber security business.   
 
Fred thanked the new members and reminded all that we are always looking for new members.   
 
District Governor Steve Pudergaugh will be the guest speaker on Wednesday October 14.
