President Fred called the meeting to order at 6 pm at Harts. The pledge of allegiance followed.
Fred offered our prayer for NH waterways and lakes to protect their natural beauty for future generations.
We had many visitors tonight! Bob Gable, a special guest of Paul Speltz, and Jan Gulezian will be Dean’s new personal driver while he recovers from knee surgery. Our guest speakers from the NH Boat Museum include Jamie Laurant, Stephanie England, and Jeff Riley.
Announcements
Wendy reported that tonight's Derby meeting was successful. All is going well. Please pray for ice. A sign-up sheet is being circulated and will be available for the next few weeks. The final prep meeting will be on Wednesday before the Derby.
The Club Christmas party, thanks to the Gilchrist’s, was fantastic!
Jan reported beautiful feedback and expressed gratitude for the Rotary Senior Dinner. This is why we do what we do.

Program from the NH Boat Museum:
Introduction by Jim McFarlin for the NH Boat Museum (NHBM) Board members: Jamie Laurant, Stephanie England, and Jeff Riley.
The Museum’s steady growth has demanded expansion beyond the Wolfeboro facility’s limited seasonal capacity. NHBM is now creating a 25K-square-foot facility in Moultonborough that is worthy of its impact on the region’s cultural, economic, and educational community. A successful capital campaign and support from the town made the financial resources to buy and start renovating the facility.
Phase One of the renovation, including infrastructure and exhibits, is complete. Phase Two is in progress to complete the renovation and exhibit designs.
The NHBM organization celebrates and preserves our boating heritage. Its programs promote active learning: boat building, sailing instruction, boating safety, model yachting, restoration, family days, and monthly story hours. Local community events include exhibits, the annual boat show, a vintage boat regatta exposition, auctions, and a lecture series. The next regatta is on September 12 and 13, 2025. Millie B and Miss Lauren offer vintage boat rides and are available for private charters.
