The Rotary Club of Meredith

President Kevin led us in the pledge and Dick Gerken led us in prayer.

Gary Dehnel presented a short video For Rotary Foundation highlighting Four Way test, Global Grants, District Grants, Polio Plus and Peace Fellowship.
 
Kevin Kellen went to Bedford to pick up 4000 masks.  If you are available and can help distribute the masts to First responders or others you that can use them, please be in contact with Kevin.  There will be masks available at the derby.  
 
Board meeting was held at 6:00 pm via zoom.  The report for derby ticket was encouraging.  Sales are at 1200, expenses are down.  
 
Fred Strader brought the members up to date on Derby.  The Sign up sheet will be going out to all members.  There are new positions on the sign up sheet and they will be explained on the last page.  There will be training for the new software that has been installed.  1 Fish Runner.  2. Safety Officer 3. Food and Warm up Tent  
Fred is working to get group COVID testing set up before the derby for people working in the trailer.  
 
Dell Clough reminded all to donate to the Rotary Foundation before the 31st of January to get in on the drawing for fresh oranges/grapefruit that Art and Dell will donate to the winner.    Send an email to Teresa that you have donated.  
 
Tim Bergquist reported that the Historical Society Museum in Meredith needs some repairs to the flooring and lighting.  Tim is looking for hands on volunteers.  He hopes to have a work date and time to announce at next weeks meeting.
