Announcements:
Please note that for the next two Wednesday meetings there will be no formal programs due to a School Board Meeting followed by a Town Meeting. Gary Dehnel, ‘Mr Rotary in High School’ brought all up to date about an upcoming FunSpot fundraiser, where Interact President Jasmine and Brendan have scheduled 4 teams looking for sponsors for their Bowl-a-thon, with Make a Wish Foundation as their worthy beneficiary. A $36 contribution covers the bowling cost do, if you can , please let Gary know! Jim McFarlin was honored with this year’s GMP Volunteer of the Year Award, a richly deserved prize! Jim took a bow, and mentioned that The Meredith Library Fund.org has received its 5013C  designation, so the much needed $1.1M tax deductible donation campaign has begun!

Happy Dollars
Chuck T tossed in a buck for McFarlin’s award, Dick Gerken remembered what would have marked his beloved dad’s 100th Birthday! Ray told of the enjoyment of watching his granddaughter’ Downhill Ski Race! Kevin shared what a terrific time four of his young grandkids had with the youth ski experience at Gunstock!

Program
Erin A. Introduced guest presenter Betty Strader who offered up a fascinating video highlighting the vast array of offerings at the Meredith Public Library. I found it amazing that the library receives over 200 visitors per day, but considering that 75% of the town’s population hold active library cards, maybe I shouldn't be!
The video covered dozens of activities: Art watercolor workshops, stamp art, Rock painting are only a few of the arts and crafts available. Books, of course, extend opportunities for enthusiasts to enjoy Book Clubs, Mystery Book Club , Books on tap etc. When knitters, concerts, the children’s , the mini-horse day, flood recovery efforts, 1968 parade participants, time capsule, topped off with the float for Meredith’s 250th Parade...it’s amazing but. Lear to see just what a marvelous asset our historic Meredith Library truly is!

50/50: Ray...donated to Library!
