Mike-for volunteering to take exchange student Emmanuel to Burling, VT, which he thought would be “about an hour”. But the nearly three hour trip gave them an excuse to eat Five Guys!
Tim-for his 20 hour trip to Burlington from Woodstock.
Gary-had a wonderful drive to New Jersey for a wedding and what a party! Then drove back up for the District Conference. In last week’s newsletter a typo read plaque holder instead of plank holder. Gary asked what a plank holder is and Chuck knew that it was for any shipmate who served on a ship for its maiden voyage.
Dick-happy that he and Carol went to the district conference.
Bob D-gave $10 and thanked everyone for stepping up to help him and Elissa after the fire
Kevin-gave $5 for Gary and Rick doing an amazing job with the Interact kids, it was a pleasure. Also for the honor in giving out Rotary scholarships with Ben at the Moultonborough Academy. Kids were very excited and enthusiastic.
Dean and Jan went to Rochester, NY for granddaughter’s concert and then drove to Burlington for Youth Exchange speeches.

Erin-please remember 1968 time capsule opening on July 4 at 2PM at the Chase House. Also, Friends of the library made a book quilt to raffle. See her for tickets. $1 for one or $5 for 6.
Program:
Presentation on the Pavillion by Major Projects Committee. Cost of project is $46,200.00 which includes construction, landscaping and picnic tables. Eric will pour concrete for cost of materials. Recommend this over pavers. David Spring will be managing the project. Pete Verrill will be donating his time as will others from the community. Precut and finished in Douglas Fir with roofing materials being 2 x 6 tongue and groove spruce. Voting was by secret ballot which passed 28 to 7.
Art suggested a plaque dedicating the project to Joe Cerrutti who quietly contributed to many projects around town, including the building of Hesky Park where the Pavillion will be located.
