Seven volunteers ran 28 test transactions on the new online purchasing system, with only three failures, all traced to a credit card processing error. A fix is in progress, with two more rounds of testing expected. The club now has a dedicated phone number and a customer support reference page, with voicemails routing to a shared inbox.

SURVEY RESULTS ARE IN
Thank you to everyone who filled out the survey. Hands-on projects topped the list of what members want more of, followed by funding and scholarship work and youth development, with several members also asking for more networking time. On programs, members want more nonprofit presentations, community leader discussions, and committee chair updates, along with a request to space out fundraising asks rather than stacking them back-to-back.
On location, most members want consistency over variety, with Hart's as the clear favorite. A few suggested rotating among a small set of trusted spots while still keeping a predictable schedule.
Janine: Her husband made it through surgery and is doing well.
Bob: Golf league win, plus trips to Acadia National Park and Washington D.C.
Harry: Son's wedding, a new daughter-in-law, and a grandchild expected in January.
Gary: EAA aviation enthusiast, giving free flights to kids aged 8 to 18 to get them into aviation. The Young Eagles event flew 36 kids this year.
Ellen: Another contact about restarting the Styrofoam recycling collection.
Dean G: Completed the crisis management plan, with input from committee members.
Monica: Rode 30 miles for the Michael J. Fox Foundation, raising $5,500 for Parkinson's research. Also noted Dean is doing the Big Brothers Big Sisters walk at Gunstock on October 4, with Brian matching registration fees.
Jack M: Hiking in Yosemite, a JetBlue cancellation that scrapped a trip to Scotland, and attending a Nikkah-style ceremony for his son's wedding.
Bruce: Nephew's wedding, and a big thank you to everyone who helped test the new purchasing system.
Heidi: New RV purchase, 27 feet!
Frank won the drawing and donated it to the pantry.
