1st Annual Telling Tales Swap and Shop The 1st Annual Telling Tales Swap and Shop needs your support. Please donate books suitable for newborns to 15 year olds. Children's board books, hard covers, chapter books, paperbacks and picture books are all appreciated. Here's how the Swap and Shop works: • All children will have the opportunity to swap one of their own books for a book from the Telling Tales Swap tables. • Children and adults may purchase as many books as they would like from the Telling Tales Shop tables. Prices range from loonies and toonies to a maximum of $5. • Children identified by the Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board and the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board as being from high priority schools, will have the opportunity to select one book from the Telling Tales Swap tables. How to donate your books: • Drop off books at Westfield Heritage Village the day of the event. • Large quantities of books may be dropped off at Westfield prior to September 20, if clearly marked "Telling Tales Swap and Shop." • Collect books at your Rotary Club. Call Kathy Starodub at (905) 648-6346 to arrange pick-up. • Drop off books to the Hamilton Literacy Council office located at 75 MacNab Street South in Hamilton. • Drop off books at Bryan Prince Bookseller located at 1060 King Street West in Hamilton. • Large quantities of books may be dropped off at your local branch of the Hamilton Public Library with boxes clearly marked "Telling Tales Swap and Shop – ATTN: Laura Lukasik, CCD."
