Lenore Lukasik-Foss was our guest speaker on September 6 and has been working in the women's anti-violence movement for over 25 years. She is currently the Director of the Sexual Assault Centre (Hamilton & Area), SACHA, and Chair of the Ontario Coalition of Rape Crisis Centres. Lenore has specific expertise working with survivors of sexual violence and facilitating collaboration from various sectors to better support survivors. In 2015, Lenore was awarded a YWCA “Woman of Distinction” for her work in Community Development and Social Inclusion. Lenore is currently a member of the Premier’s Roundtable on Violence Against Women.
