On Friday, February 14 about 10 Hamilton AM club members and family served the noon meal to the hungry and homeless at St. Patrick's church's parish outreach program called "De Mazenod Door".  Church volunteers and staff organize and cook the meal and the sponsoring organization supports the program with a $500 donation and enough volunteers to help with meal service.  It was a cold but bright, sunny day and the welcoming environment brought out a significant crowd; mostly adults but some families with children.  Club members added to the spirit of the day by baking approximately 500 Valentine's cookies earlier in the week and handing them out with drinks and chips.  A great example of Rotary "Service above Self" in action!
