The Children's International Learning Centre

Kevin McNally

Kevin is the current president of the board of directors for the Children’s International Learning Centre. Kevin joined the CILC as a volunteer about 2.5 years ago after being introduced to everything they do by his wife who at the time was a newcomer to Canada from China and couldn’t work. After a short time volunteering, Kevin joined the Board where he was part of the Bylaw and Maintenance Committees. Throughout his time with the CILC, he has been inspired by the Vision of the CILC and the goal of creating a world of care and respect for all people. Kevin also volunteers for his daughter, a beautiful and precious nearly two year old, who may not receive all the same privileges in life that he has.

In his professional life, Kevin is a registered Professional Engineer who works for Morrison Hershfield, a consulting engineering firm, as a Project Manager.

Fernanda Polanco

Fernanda moved to Hamilton almost four years ago with her partner, from northern BC where she was a Rotarian in the Rotary Club of Terrace. During this time, she worked on various fundraising projects and as the co-chair for RYLA, a youth based camp. In addition, she has been involved in fundraising for a rural and remote health initiative based out of Guatemala. Fernanda has been with the Children’s International Learning Centre since the spring of 2017, working primarily on the fundraising committee.
Professionally, Fernanda has worked as a registered nurse for about six years before going to back to school to complete a master degree and Nurse Practitioner graduate studies at McMaster University.  Currently, she works as the director of health services and as a nurse practitioner at St. Leonard's Place Peel in Brampton and one day a week at the Rapid Access Addictions Clinic in the Waterloo area.
We will be presenting information about our organization, the Children’s International Learning Centre (CILC). The CILC is a not-for-profit organization that promotes inclusivity and diversity through educational programs.
Thank you, Joe!
Please let us know if you need anything further!
