Ludlow Rotary Club of Vermont

Rotary Serving Humanity - Membership

The 2016-2017 Rotary International theme is "Rotary Serving Humanity".  The Ludlow Rotary Club is very proud to assist with needs in our local service area of Ludlow, Cavendish, Mt. Holly and Plymouth.  Over the years we have built benches upon which to relax, assisted with painting at the Gill Home, as well as supported our local schools in their efforts to enhance our children's education. (among many other projects)  Most recently, our club is assisting with the beautification at Starr Lake with building tables and flower beds.  Our "Serving Humanity" does not end locally.  After 9/11 and again Sandy Hook and many tragedies in between; we have solicited from our community to join us in supporting Humanity in need and we appreciate your support!  Internationally we have written Global and District Grants alone and in partnership with other Rotary Clubs here and abroad to purchase an ambulance after the Tsunami, build a Community Center School in the Egyptian community of Odysat, and a more familiar receipient - Malayaka House - an orphanage in Uganda with whom we have a personal connection, for whom we were able to have installed Solar Energy.

Our club is small and we are ALWAYS looking to welcome new members.  If you would like to attend a meeting and learn how you may "Serve Humanity" while enjoying the fellowship of others, please contact any Rotarian or drop a note to Ludlow Rotary, PO Box 216, Ludlow Vermont.
