Each year the Keene Rotary Club provides thousands of dollars in interest-free loans to full-time college juniors and seniors from the Keene area.
The club hopes to award a total of $15,000 in loans this year to full-time college juniors and seniors entering the fall semester. The maximum individual loan can be for $5,000. Loans are available to graduates of Keene, Monadnock Regional, or other public high schools in the Club's service area. The student must be a current legal resident of Cheshire County and provide two loan guarantors.
Loans for the academic year may be used to toward tuition, fees, books, and related expenses. Loans are to be repaid without interest over the four years immediately following graduation. Loan applications are evaluated based upon demonstrated financial need and educational performance.
