Wow! A great turnout for our Pancake Breakfast and Student Art show August 11 & 12.

Thanks to everyone who came, ate breakfast, took part in the 50-50, bought a Christmas ornament and/or viewed the art show. A big thank you to the behind the scenes folks - Alvirne High school Staff (especially the very helpful custodians); Hudson School District; Hudson art teachers; and Litchfield art teachers as well as our generous sponsors. And, very thankful for our volunteers and members who pulled together to make the event a success. Our members and volunteers cooked 504 sausages, mixed 55 lbs. of pancake mix, flipped 55 lbs. of pancakes, cut 4 huge watermelons, prepared endless coffee, 297 pieces of art were hung, and 15 bottles of syrup were used. There were many, many ribbons cut, a trip to Sam's, signs put out and signs collected after the event and much more. ALL worth it!!
