Dear Friend,

On December 4, 2016, two local members, along with a crew of 6-8 people, will embark on a medical mission to a medically underserved area of Cambodia known as Takeo Province. This trip will be co-supported by a local Rotary Club in the capital city of Pnom Penh. Cambodian Rotaract members will also assist during these two weeks.

Each person will be paying for their own way on the trip. Our club is looking for donations to help pay for medical supplies, medicines and reading glasses.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact:

Daniel Caloras, MD
Past Club President

Every year, each club in Rotary is visited by the District Governor. On August 13, 2015, District Governor Sandra McGonagle visited our Club. She was accompanied by the First Gentleman, John McGonagle, and Assistant Governor, Bill Stevens. During her visit, the Club's accomplishments and plans for the future were discussed. Sandra was very impressed with our achievements as a small club. They include: 4-Way Speech Contest, Penny Sale, Medical Missions to Honduras, books for all first graders, egg hunts, and so much more!!

These photos were taken by our President, Dee Hassett, at the Changing of the Gavel at the Little Red School House in
Wallingford, Vermont. The Gavel was presented to District Governor, Sandra McGonagle, by Past District Governor Rich Barryman.

The original Little Red School House was instrumental as the meeting place of the founders of Rotary (now know as Rotary International), by a small group of area businessmen that envisioned to contribute to their communities. Little did they know that this dream would make a difference Worldwide.
